Our Story

We are a small family-owned and run business in Berrin/Mount Gambier, Boandik Country on the Limestone Coast of South Australia. Our home winery is only a short walk from the Blue Lake and Mount Gambier volcano, and a 20 minute drive to the wild and bountiful coastline, with fertile soils and cool temperate climate only slightly elevated from sea level.

Growing our own organic fruit is central to our winemaking philosophy, with six hectares of vines spread over five individually leased vineyards, all within five kilometres of Mount Gambier. We process roughly 20 tonnes of fruit each year, the majority grown in our vineyards plus a small portion purchased from certified organic and biodynamic vineyards nearby.

In the winery we have a delicate approach with the ultimate aim to produce clean varietal wines clearly reflecting the beautiful vineyards where they are grown. In our opinion this is best achieved by allowing the grapes to speak, without the influence of external ingredients or processes (preservatives, new oak or fining/filtration).

Tastings by appointment - feel free to get in touch.
